Join a team of procurement specialists to provide support to Switchgear production line buyers for the Supply Chain team at the Mebane, NC plant working out of San Luis Potosi. Among these activities will be contact with suppliers, creation of requisitions and purchase orders (mainly for sheet and copper materials), as well as follow up to timely delivery of material in the best possible time and cost, this as there is a process being executed to purchase materials from external suppliers to move to manufacturing of materials in plant.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Support with the placement of requisitions and purchase orders.
- Follow up on open purchase orders (deliveries/transit).
- Provide support for analysis of payments and invoices to suppliers.
- Follow up on reports and demand analysis.
- Implement process improvement ideas.
**Your background**:
- Student in Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/International Business; Mechanical Engineering; Industrial Engineering; Logistics.
- Optional insurance for at least 6 months with the possibility of extension to 1 year.
- Fluent/conversational English.
- Knowledge of supply chain, material planning and purchasing.
- Basic knowledge of logistics/impo-expo.
- Advanced Excel / SAP MM (desirable).
- Availability between 6:30-7 am to 2 pm.
