-Our Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for working directly with our customers and supporting their supply chain needs through our Operations Team and our proprietary Transportation Management System software. The Supply Chain Manager will be executing customer-specific transportation projects and cultivating solutions to ever-changing circumstances. You will have ownership of and successfully meet customer's requirements and deliverables while continuously analyzing and implementing potential process improvement initiatives for future needs. You will have access to and utilize our internal operations team for escalated issues.
We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to implement and assist with supply chain and logistics-based operations for one of our largest customers. You will be an integral point-of-contact and representative of ProTrans International by serving the customer and successfully executing their logístical needs.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Complete understanding and ownership of customer-specific logistics planning and execution.
- Facilitation and completion of both temporary adjustments and permanent changes to complex logístical plans.
- Responsible for damage control and escalation of issues related to late shipments, damaged cargo, and/or delays.
- Utilize problem solving skills and excellent customer service to resolve complex and intricate problems within supply chain and logistics plans.
- Comprehension and alignment with contractual activities, such as: load planning, dispatching, PuL, tracking and tracing, and expedite support.
- Serve as an integral point-of-contact stationed between both Pro Trans International and the customer.
- Align with customer central operations to handle complaints and ensure support plans are in place to maintain relationship.
- Interact with varying levels of management and operations within a matrixed organization.
- Remain compliant with Customs and C-TPAT regulations and procedures.
**Education and/or Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or business-related field.
- 0-3 years of industry experience within logistics and supply chain.
- Automotive logistics experience preferred, but not required.
- Willing to travel both nationally and internationally to customer locations within the ProTrans International network.
- Experience using web-based business intelligence tools.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, etc.).
