We are looking for the best talent to join our Supply Chain team in Mexico & Central America Job Purpose He/She is responsible for the procurement, purchasing and logistics process, promoting strategies and initiatives that can create synergies between different countries in order to achieve the best compromise between cost and quality.
He promotes the search for innovative supplies that can increase the value of the Epta product.
Key Responsibilities Ensure that purchasing and procurement processes are implemented in accordance with company policies and consistent with local specificities Coordinate across countries to create knowledge sharing of best suppliers Ensure procurement and sourcing processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets, enabling the business to function and compete effectively at a regional/local level (global for procurement) Manage supplier selection, evaluation, and rationalization of supply chain solutions, including supplier managed product inventory, supplier shipments and safety stock levels.
Monitors required supplier certification through approved independent third-party audit and ongoing surveillance audits Createand manage the RFPs Develops a regional/local supplier base that creates and sustains a competitive advantage Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers (including service providers) to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery timescales Ensure that product stock is maintained at the optimum level to support timely deliveries to customers, keeping warehouse stocks at appropriate levels and promoting synergy between different plants Define plan and monitor purchase orders in line with company sales at regional/local level, maximizing the level of customer service Ensure that performance improvement and recovery plans are developed, issued, tracked, and reported as required to manage supply guidelines.
Anticipate price and market trends to identify balance changes in buyer-supplier power Can plan, monitor, and optimize logistic and operational flows and related costs, guaranteeing the best possible results for the Group, managing at the best the relations with partners/suppliers as regards products and services and minimizing the dependence risks
