About The Role
For an important international Oil&Gas Company, we are currently looking for an Supply Chain Manager, if you're passionate and deeply curious about finding solutions to new challenges, you could be the perfect fit for this role.
**To be successful in this Role, you need**:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, and/or Accounting.
More than 10 years of experience managing or leading supply chain and procurement teams.
A minimum of 4 years of corporate managerial experience is required.
At least 3 years of experience in the Maritime industry.
Enhancing strategic leadership in Supply Chain Management encompasses Logistics Operations, Vendor Management, Storage Operations, and fostering robust relationships with customers and carriers.
Robust understanding of financial indicators and has ability to perform sound economic analysis (ROI, cash flow analysis, lease vs. buy, microeconomics).
Strategic planning, in-depth analysis, and meticulous preparation of reports and financial statements.
Comprehensive market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Consistent monitoring and tracking of organizational performance to ensure goals.
Development of sophisticated control dashboards and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making and provide insights into performance metrics.
Creation of engaging presentations to communicate findings and strategic recommendations effectively.
**Scope of work includes but is not limited to**:
Drive collaborative efforts in the planning process alongside finance and operations teams, instituting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to guarantee materials are available when needed.
Proactively manage and mitigate supply chain risks by forecasting potential issues and developing strategic alternatives to address disruptions or mismatches between supply and demand effectively.
Define and lead the implementation of the company's supply chain strategy to enhance operational efficiency and fulfill requirements in a timely manner. This involves strategically selecting suppliers and partners within a competitive landscape to guarantee the provision of materials within the desired timeframe, while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness that bolster business profitability.
They will work in close collaboration with the board to ensure that customer activities align with both regional business objectives and global supply chain strategies.
Furthermore, the incumbent will maintain a strong partnership with internal teams to guarantee seamless operations.
