**Role Overview**:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes for our manufacturing plant in Queretaro. This role focuses on ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials and finished products, maintaining inventory levels, and improving overall supply chain efficiency.

**Work Environment**: On-site

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company's goals.
- Analyze and optimize the supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and finished goods.
- Implement inventory control systems to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
- Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Use forecasting tools and techniques to predict future demand and adjust supply chain activities accordingly.
- Monitor supply chain expenses and develop strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure contingency plans are in place to address supply chain disruptions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to achieve departmental goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

**Critical Competencies for Success**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and solve complex problems.
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing in English is required.
