Currently Hiring a: "Supply Chain Manager" to be based in TIJUANA, B.C."Supply Chain Manager" for a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames and sunglasses and one of the current fastest growing companies worldwide.Our client's portfolio includes some of the most loved - and most trusted - vision care and eyewear brands in the world.**What you'll be doing**:This position is responsible to lead, manage and monitor Logistics, Planning, Sourcing Teams to ensure all sections run smoothly and effectively. Lead and improve Demand & Supply with cross-functional team, drive the demand planning process by using KPIs & other measures to support and ensure that at strategic and operational level the Supply Chain Department is aligned with the priorities and activities of the business and other functions.**To do so, you will be in charge of**:- Driving teams to achieve both the company's Key Performance Indicators, as well as Department KPIs- Improve service quality, supplier performance, employee efficiency, interdepartmental communication, delivery performance and customer satisfaction.- Analyzes statistical models, economic trends and other business information to support the development of the demand plan and act as the centralized point of Supply Chain team to ensure information is fully circulated and enable team to be proactive to tackle the change in time.- Optimize operational resources while executing cost reductions and inventory controls- Collaboration with other departments to perform good results for various issues such as engineering change, new product implementation, new supplier, new drawing or production scheduling.- Determine Key Supply Chain KPIs.- Plan and implement overall supply chain strategy.- Developing and maintaining a long-term Supply Chain plan.**Must have qualifications**- Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistic, Engineering or related field.- At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management with minimum of 5 years in managerial level.- Excellent command of English.- Solid knowledge of supply chain management- Solid knowledge of corporate SAP system, and inventory management.- Advanced risk and business management skills including information gathering and data analysis.- Have strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable in a hands-on role with the capacity to step up and contribute to major projects as they arise.- Be a committed team player who can communicate well, work independently and effectively organize your own workload.- Strong management, negotiation, analytical and interpersonal skills.
