Your role at Baxter. Main objective of the position: The Network Planner is responsible for balancing and optimizing end to end supply planning to meet global demand. Communicates effectively and efficiently the supply and production risks that arise in the chain, mitigating risks through short-, medium- and long-term tactical strategies. What you'll be doing Formulating & communicating short to mid-term tactical plans that balance supply & demandProactively managing supply chain risks e.g. low cover and escalate issues where appropriate.Aligning transfer orders to demand and send to ERP &/or local shipping system for execution.Reviewing transfer order exceptions and cancel, decrease or postpone orders if necessaryApplying scenario planning & collaboration, leveraging Rapid Response functionality and toolsCollaborating with Plant Schedulers, Demand planners, W&D, Cluster fulfilment, Commercial & Manufacturing to resolve supply risks & issues.Leading OPLAN review with key stakeholders e.g. Plant managementSupporting the Network manager with regional and/or Global SI&OP input.Monitoring supply chain performance, review & approve planning parameters and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Being accountable for achieving Inventory targetsProviding input to financial planning and forecasting processes
What you'll bring Bachelor's Degree required related in Manufacturing planning, Industrial Engineering, Business administration, Supply Chain Management- planning, logistics.3-5 years of related experience in Manufacturing planning processes (scheduler desirable),Supply Chain Experience in similar scale supply chain roleProficient technical skills, experience with RapidResponse or other relevant planning systemsProven stakeholder management skills (including influencing, communication negotiating and conflict management) and experience in a geographically diverse, matrix organization.Basic Project management skill and lean/continuous improvement.Procurement planning: in-depth understanding of how to control inventory levels based on Re-Order Point/Lead Time/safety stock.Advanced EnglishAPICS desirableExcel AdvancedKnowledge of Planning tools desirable
