We are looking for a talented **Supply Chain Planner (Temporary 12 months)** to join our team specializing in **Supply Chain Planning** for our **CUMMINS** in **San Luis Potosí, SLP, México**.
**Job description**:
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for planning and maintaining daily operations in various functional areas, such as materials, production, inventory, logistics, customer service, demand management and order fulfillment. His/her main objective is to ensure that the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers are met, optimizing efficiency and mitigating risks in the supply chain.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
**Supply Chain Planning**:
- Develop and adjust planning system strategies to improve communication and efficiency throughout the supply chain.
- Monitor and adjust planning system parameters to ensure consistent and effective signals.
**Management and Optimization**:
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans.
- Execute daily operational planning process in assigned functional area.
- Assess and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain.
**Collaboration and Communication**:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop short-term tactical improvements.
- Manage relationship with suppliers, clarifying discrepancies and exploring options for release of equivalent parts.
**Logistics and Materials Management**:
- Expediting materials and resolving customs detained material crossings.
- Handle material planning using advanced tools such as MRP and Oracle R12.
**Qualifications**
**Education**: University degree
**Responsibilities**
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Minimum to intermediate level of relevant experience in supply chain planning is required.
- MRP and Oracle R12 knowledge.
- Experience in domestic and international supplier management.
- Advanced intermediate English is required.
