Will help facilities improve their performance levels to corporate targets for EDI conformance/compliance and EDI's impact on receiving, shipping, and invoice reconciliation. The incumbent will be an EDI SME responsible for the identification of EDI process opportunities and their effects on business process and supplier enablement.Responsible for performing work to achieve supply chain performance targets focused on EDI enablement, utilization, and improved order-to-delivery results.**Job Duties**The incumbent is a key team member working on the deployment of the Supply Chain Planning Process, which develops the EDI conformance/compliance and streamlined EDI-enabled supply chain process across the OTD landscape.The incumbent gathers and analyzes data on facility EDI enablement and utilization from a customer and a supplier perspective. This role gathers and analyzes data about supplier and customer EDI conformance/compliance. This position develops EDI-enabled material flow plans for all materials coming into a facility.The incumbent is responsible for creating and maintaining a site-level EDI map for process enablement from both a customer and a supplier perspective. This position enables/coaches facility employees to utilize EDI and provides reports and information to facility resources requiring EDI information.The incumbent is a key team member and will be called upon to lead EDI deployment teams, in the execution of EDI-enabled processes in a plant. This work involves using material replenishment analytical tools, working with pull trigger systems, enhancing supplier and customer communications through EDI, and working with material handlers and other factory personnel to drive common receiving, shipping, and replenishment processes in a plant. The incumbent must be able to work among production and logistics employees with little to no disruption to their workload.The incumbent performs physical, tactical work to reduce/eliminate supply chain constraints at both the facility and at the supplier/customer, working with a cross-functional team of personnel
