General Responsibilities:

The SM-SCP is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the mentioned function areas. Control any changes concerning customs regulations.
Follow, develop, and act according to the Quality Assurance System.
Assure traceability from receiving of raw materials/goods to stock/deliveries to production, from production to sterilization, on finished goods stock, and to the customer.
Follow all general procedures, business plans, strategies, and policies in UMD-MX. Coordinate PO's and deliveries of components from Infusion Device in DK and other suppliers in coordination with the Logistic Department in DK in quality and quantity for production needs according to established plans and forecasts from the Sales Department.
SM-SCP is responsible for the approval of suppliers of indirect materials and services, negotiations, and contract agreements in support of all department requirements of indirect materials and services.
Hire and dismiss employees of the Logistic Department according to Company Personnel Policies.
SM-SCP is responsible for keeping in good working conditions the computer system used as part of their responsibilities.
SM-SCP is responsible for the organization of the warehouse, including product preservation, housekeeping, pest control program, FIFO procedure, and conditions of handling equipment.
Responsible for preparing weekly production plans and inventory reports. Responsible for preparing and presenting monthly capacity plans and proposals for changes.
Present and update monthly shipment schedules.
Follow the budget approved by the Business Units.

EHS Requirements:

Incorporate EHS compliance and risk considerations into procurement decisions for key suppliers, third-party manufacturers, and contractors on a risk basis.
Ensure new chemicals receive an EHS review prior to being purchased. Maintain general awareness of the CVT's EHS policy and supporting standards.
Understand EHS risks and applicable legal requirements associated with their job responsibilities and the appropriate controls in place to manage those risks and requirements.
Carry out job responsibilities with due professional care and in compliance with legal requirements and internal standards without compromising their own safety or that of others.
Be alert to EHS hazards in the workplace, responding to them as appropriate and communicating them to responsible management as they are identified (e.g., spills).
Participate in training, awareness, and community initiatives as appropriate. Help drive continuous EHS performance improvement by suggesting potential improvements to responsible management.

Education, Training, and Competences Requested:

10+ years of experience in Planning and Materials Management at a similar level.
Fluent English spoken and written is a requirement.
Experience with MRP Systems.
Strong leadership skills and experience in change management.
Software utilization knowledge.
