To learn more about Convatec, please visit.General Responsibilities:The SM-SCP is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the mentioned functional areas.Control any changes concerning customs regulations.Follow, develop, and act according to the Quality Assurance System.Ensure traceability from receiving raw materials/goods to stock/deliveries to production, from production to sterilization, on finished goods stock, and to the customer.Follow all general procedures, business plans, strategies, and policies in UMD-MX.Coordinate PO's and deliveries of components from Infusion Device in DK and other suppliers in coordination with the Logistic Department in DK in quality and quantity for production needs according to established plans and forecasts from the Sales Department.Approve suppliers of indirect materials and/or services, negotiations, and contract agreements in support of all departmental requirements for indirect materials and/or services.Hire and dismiss employees of the Logistic Department according to Company Personnel Policies.Maintain the computer system used as part of responsibilities in good working condition.Organize the warehouse, including product preservation, housekeeping, pest control program, FIFO procedure, and conditions of handling equipment.Prepare weekly production plans and inventory reports, and present monthly capacity plans and proposals for changes.Present and update monthly shipment schedules.Follow the budget approved by the Business Units.EHS Requirements:Incorporate EHS compliance and risk considerations into procurement decisions for key suppliers, third-party manufacturers, and contractors on a risk basis.Ensure new chemicals receive an EHS review prior to being purchased. Maintain general awareness of CVT's EHS policy and supporting standards.Understand EHS risks and applicable legal requirements associated with job responsibilities and the appropriate controls in place to manage those risks and requirements.Carry out job responsibilities with due professional care and in compliance with legal requirements and internal standards without compromising their own safety or that of others
