.What you will do:Under general direction of the JCI organization, implement systems and manufacturing engineering activities to ensure workstreams are fully operational and capable of reporting standard costs and perpetual inventory.The Program Manager will lead Manufacturing Operating Systems implementation for all chillers BU, maintaining ownership of cross-functional team planning and execution to meet respective deliverables in a timely manner. This includes providing continual updates to JCI – Chillers Leadership stakeholders on workstreams implementation, utilizing an escalation process to request leadership support for unresolved program issues.How you will do it:Provide leadership and guidelines for employees to meet JCI standards/policies while adhering to ethical principles.Implement and maintain an updated system for all manufacturing/engineering enrichment fields, materials, finance, and all parameters necessary for proper ERP implementation of workstreams.Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to standardize work at manufacturing plants.Evaluate current processes at the manufacturing plant to develop standards.Create Manufacturing BOMs and Routings.Calculate cycle times to meet customer tack times.Validate all manufacturing processes to meet ergonomic standards.Identify process improvements and implement them at appropriate locations.Develop documentation for standard processes.Create standards for routings and utilize Lean Manufacturing tools for improvements and cost savings.Validate drawings against current production products/processes.Monitor and validate ECRs.Lead projects related to Continuous Improvement and Cost reduction efforts in accordance with Plant Management goals.Utilize the ERP system to manage and identify potential SCM disruptions and develop corrective actions.Manage tools such as Excel and Access for problem-solving while leveraging the ERP system as the primary tool in day-to-day operations.Provide management direction and oversight, including day-to-day operations when applicable.Determine critical global business capabilities needed to support objectives in supplier scheduling and define the processes required to enable those capabilities.Drive standardization of processes enabled by IT solutions to achieve efficiencies across the integrated supply chain.Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Have a comprehensive understanding of ERP modules and transactions.Understand supply chain logic and methodology versus ERP.Experience working with IT on ERP system implementation.What we look for:Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study.8+ years of management experience.8+ years of manufacturing experience.Active participation in ERP system implementation.Able to analyze and interpret complex technical procedures, business periodicals, and journals, as well as write reports and procedure manuals.Degree in Business or equivalent field; MBA preferred but not required
