Supply Chain Project Manager Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related field to the manufacturing or technical field. Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years working in Electronics, ideally EMS, in Purchasing, Materials Management, or Supply Chain Management. Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the electronics and manufacturing market. Strong IT skills and knowledge of tools such as Microstrategy and Rapid Response preferred. Skills:
- Ability to communicate well at all levels of our organization (internal/external) and prepare and present to large groups.
- Self-starter with the ability to work individually and as a group contributor.
- Problem-solving skills for both simple and complex issues.
- Quick decision-making capability with partial information.
- Quick learner able to work effectively with customers, global manufacturing facilities, and sales/program teams.
- Ability to contribute to the development of new ideas and methods for effectively serving customers. Responsibilities:
- Manage and improve the Supply Chain KPIs for our largest customers globally, working with plants, global supply chain organization, and customers to implement logistics solutions that enhance asset management, such as inventory turns.
- Collaborate with the GSM team and customers to improve payment terms with suppliers and enhance cash cycle days.
- Serve as the focal point for material issues with customers and provide support to meet manufacturing needs.
- Support customer material requirements, including data feeds and reporting.
- Conduct cost management activities, ensuring cost variances are reclaimed promptly and costs are accurately set up in systems.
- Ensure compliance with customer requests in all materials and purchasing areas.
- Advocate for customers to drive project prioritization and responses to issues.
- Develop supply chain proposals to meet customer needs and achieve Sanmina objectives.#J-18808-Ljbffr
