Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Project Manager in our CDMX or Tlaxcala location.What do you get to do in this position?The Project Management is responsible for developing, selling, and executing cost reduction projects in a cross-functional environment aligned to the North America region strategy.
Initiatives include the transfer of suppliers, quality, and value engineering changes.
This position is also co-responsible for building and supporting a solid pipeline of projects through new ideas development, as well as coaching, disrupting, and leading the procurement organization in project management best practices.
Lead innovation workshops, competitor comparison exercises, collaborate with Line of Business, and manage resources and budgets.
Create ideas through a strong knowledge of cost structure, electromechanical technologies, raw materials (ferrous, non-ferrous, and resins), and electronic components.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or BusinessBilingual in English/Spanish – business proficient (written and oral)+3 years proven experience working in Project ManagementPrevious experience working in Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or Supply Chain areasProactive, dynamic, self-driven, able to achieve results via influence and great communication skillsSeeks solutions beyond his/her own frame of referenceAvailability to travel internationally (Valid Passport and USA Visa)Desired Skills:Experience working in the electric or electronics manufacturing industryInterpretation of engineering specs, drawings, BOM (Bill of Material), cost modeling, inventory volumesPMP Training/CertificationMaster's in Business AdministrationExperience implementing and leading Agile (Scrum Master methodology)Scrum Master CertificationExperience handling ambiguity and multiple conflicts to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environmentSchedule: Full-timeReq: 00985K#J-18808-Ljbffr
