**Job Purpose**
Establishes plans and programs to continuously monitor and improve the flow of materials and information in the value chain based on established company guidelines.

**Specifications -**

Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Advanced English.
- 3 years of experience in production planning and material flow.

**Job responsibilities**
- Analyze SIOP plan to design and update main Value Chain parameters (Intervals, supermarket size, line loading, etc.).
- Develop weekly MS plan.
- Identify potential flow disruption risks within the value chain and facilitate containment actions and initiate escalation process.
- Contribute with the compliance of the value chain indicators, DSA. Lead Time, Inventory Turns, Intervals, etc.
- Perform continuous improvement in the flow of materials and information through the value chain.
- Coordinate with material planning manager the availability of raw materials and subcontracts to ensure flow within the value chain.
- Participate in the development of visual management tools to monitor the health of the supermarkets within the value chain.
- Participate in the reduction of lost time due to material availability, measured against LTA.

**Technical Competencies**
- Proficient in Supply Chain APICS tools (CPIM desirable).
- Proficient in value chain mapping tools, mix models and shared resource management.
- Use analysis and problem solving tools.
- Use of MFG Pro system.
- Knowledge of GKN processes.
- Proficient in Supply Chain tools.
- Use Office packages at a basic level.
- PMCIL
- Proficient in Lean tools.
- Uses operations research and transportation models.
