Drive continuous improvement plan within supply planning capability.
Lead Demand planning for our LAF business unit.Core Responsibilities of the role:Owns market supply planning including product availability management, inventory strategy definition and stock optimization.Owns supply chain interface between market SC and upstream (plants) supply.Ensures timely and cost-effective replenishment of stock to origin W/H from plant based on Demand insights.Minimize shortage risks and proactively communicate risks to market SC team.Manage the stock policy & shelf life to ensure service and reduce product waste.Accurate maintenance of supply parameters (master data) in SAP and other systems.Collaborate with in market SC team to enable value through HMM & other initiatives.Collaborate with market SC team to build SLAs with plants and ensure compliance.Provide visibility of KPIs through reports along with actionable insights.Build repository of best practices in supply planning with requisite SOPs or similar such documents – Training Material.Drive continuous process improvement rigor through lean techniques and undertaking special projects to deliver targeted results.Collaborate with plants to execute production plans based on priorities and policies.Communicate supply risks in a proactive way to Commercial team to execute action plans.Support new planning systems implementation/evolution.Own Demand planning role for foodservice business including S&OP process.Manage demand planning activities with rest of stakeholders such as Finance, Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain teams.Collaborate with Brazil exports team on demand planning.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or other numerical / scientific areas.Experience in supply chain especially supply/demand planning role.Preferences: experience in CPG (or related) industry.Fluent in English, verbally and written.Experience of 3 years on planning (ideally supply or demand planning).Self-driven, fast learner.Ability to connect and interact remotely with people in other locations.Key objectives and metrics:Service: Case fill, fill rate.Forecast accuracy, bias.Inventory Strategy (Propose DOS).Inventory Value (Drive WC improvement).FG freshness (> Target SL).Lossof Sales: OOS.HMM (Savings)
