Purpose of Role:
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the Minerals Digital team, you will serve supporting the following aspects of the business.
- Procurement Support (Purchasing, monthly invoicing, RFQ's, Quotes and supplier evaluation, key supplier identification)
- Supply Chain and logistics support (Sourcing selection, supply chain risk management)
- Sales Support - sales operations and sales enablement programs support as well as occasional proposal preparation

Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.- Sourcing and Procurement: Source and qualify new suppliers aligned with solutions and company requirements.- Purchase Order Management: Create and manage purchase orders, track delivery times and and work directly with vendor to ensure timely order fulfillment- Supplier management: Onboard new suppliers, (through Coupa), maintain and update supplier information building strong relationships with key vendors and that allows improvement of operational efficiencies and risk mitigation to the organization- Supports identification and management of supplier risk action plans- Evaluate the end-to-end supply chain value stream to identify and mitigate single point of failures (processes, people, material) to enable single and sole source elimination- Develop a reservoir of sourcing/category initiatives to deliver cost reductions & deflation against challenging markets.- Invoice Processing: On-time goods receiving (in Coupa) and coordination with Accounts Payable ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms, ensuring suppliers are paid on time.- Data Analysis: Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize purchasing processes.- Monthly Spend: Track actual (digital team) spend against forecasted spend and highlight any potential shortfall (monthly)- Support proposal preparation and delivery, as well as properly documenting preparation and follow ups.- Highly organized in documenting businesses processes and functions as well as maintaining business rules, requirements, and models in the respective repositories and document libraries.- Participating in the requirements management processes, including change control, version control for all documents, tracking and status reporting, and traceability.- Proactively identifying risks, issues in documentation and tools used, and action items leading to possible solutions.- Interacting with internal and external organizations.- Proactive and independent to navigate the organization and identify solutions to requirements and key stakeholders.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or equivalent experience.
Previous experience required:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing in SaaS businesses or industrial automation and documenting business rules, processes.- Proven experience with SAP, Coupa, Oracle or similar procurement software- Strong understanding of strategic sourcing principles or experience in a strategic supply chain role.- Knowledge of formal business process documentation.- Experience with BSM systems and procurement software like Coupa.
