**Job Title**:Supply Chain Specialist (3-month temp to perm)
**Location**:Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico
**Position Summary**: A Supply chain specialist must be able to identify the demand and order the proper quantity and quality of products and materials, negotiate pricing and shipment terms and oversee the timely delivery of materials needed to fulfill customer orders.
The position is charged with ensuring the performance of a supply chain from order to shipment to billing and customer service (internal or external).
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Insure "clean orders" are placed towards the SKIDATA Headquarters in terms of configuration.
This includes working with the SKIDATA defined ERP solution for SKIDATA Mexico.
- Insure "clean orders" are placed towards 3rd party solutions or vendors working on constantly developing a more efficient procurement process.
- Actively plan, track, and manage the importation of all shipments originating from SKIDATA Headquarters and all 3rd party suppliers.
- Maintaining an accurate overview about actual system delivery situation of all orders.
- Responsible for fulfilling, maintaining, and monitoring of all purchasing activities of related materials (i.e., SKIDATA AG, 3rd Party, facility required) that are necessary for SKIDATA Mexico operations
- Assists in the negotiation of supplier contracts or service arrangements.
- Must be able to deal with a variety of suppliers and vendors, and sometimes must also find places to store their goods.
- Ensure all products and documents are properly delivered following SKIDATA AG´s process for warranties.
- Ensure all products and documents are properly delivered following 3rd party suppliers and vendor´s process for warranties.
- Responsible for all Inventory tracking, monitoring, and reporting both internally in SKIDATA Mexico and SKIDATA HQ.
- Responsible for running annual physical inventory counts for HQ.
- Responsible for all certification processes for product importation (NOM).
**Skills and Knowledge**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering Required
- Business experience + 2-3 years proven experience
- Experience with importation and customs brokerage
- Knowledge on import NOMs and Certification processes.
- Demonstrating experience reducing cost and improving efficiency
- Proficiency using scheduling, productivity and communication tools.
- Strong communication - verbal and written skills and people skills.
- Strong communication, diplomacy and negotiation skills
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per month
