YOUR ROLETranslates the mid-term production plan into the short-term plan (planned orders to firm orders).Develops and reviews the short-term production and scheduling plans by line/technology, considering capacity, utilization, and timing.
The Operational Supply Planner is accountable for managing stock transfers until the 1st decoupling point, whilst the Replenishment Planner manages from the 1st decoupling point to the entire network.Monitors daily actuals against the weekly production plan and tracks product availability, production schedule adherence, and recommends corrective action for non-adherence.Identifies short-term FG requirements in the markets and proposes allocation based on business priority.Supports inventory analysis by reviewing inventory policies, tracking and managing slow-movers, and monitoring obsoletes.Maintains select manufacturing parameters (including constraints).Provides inputs and participates in the S&OE, communicating material availability issues and capacity constraints.Collaborates with the Plant Production Schedulers to align on scheduling activities.Collaborates with Purchasing and Material Planning to ensure raw materials support the production schedule.Identifies and supports continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Planning performance.
