TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities and authority**
- Supervise and schedule the activities of the personnel under your charge, working with quality and safety in the maintenance of the equipment. ? Maintain the operation and availability of the equipment assigned to your area.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of the maintenance program.
- Supervise the maintenance activities according to the IATF 16949 Quality System.
- Detect training / coaching needs and provide technical support to the education of the personnel under your charge.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs.
- Elaboration of Maintenance Programs and Procedures.
- Define the Maintenance activities in coordination with the Departments.
- Update and verify spare parts lists for each equipment.
- Follow up on downtime implementing improvements to reduce them.
- Participate in the definition of inventory of spare parts and materials required in the department.
- Generate tasks for preventive maintenance of the equipment.
- Keep track of the inputs and outputs of the equipment and machinery assigned to your area.
- Maintain and control the tools of the personnel under your charge in working conditions
- Check that preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance are applied correctly.
- Keep the payroll of the personnel under your charge and request overtime.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams for the preparation of PPAP, APQP, PSW, 8'Ds.
- Participate in Layout relocation work (electrical, pneumatic installations) concerning machinery and equipment, welding work.
- Participate in the implementation and modification for improvements in the machinery and equipment of the processes.
- Participate as a member of a continuous improvement committee.
- Promote among technicians the fulfillment of significant environmental objectives in their work areas and continuous improvement
- Responsible for informing technicians of the environmental policy and environmental objectives
- Has part authority for decisions regarding their personnel such as hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.
- Authority to stop a process in which there is a possibility of damaging the environment and/or which is outside of legal environmental compliance.

- Maintenance Engineer, Electrical-Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- +3 years of experience in a similar position preferred
