.TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.**What your background should look like**:Quality and Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that customer specifications are met through monitoring of the process or product, managing the activities of quality engineers, as well as their inspectors.Reduction of internal rejections, as well as scrap of each one of the areas.Planning, development, implementation, communication and maintenance of the quality management system.- Primary Responsibilities:- Coordination of a team of quality engineers.- Coordination of the multidisciplinary team to review rejections and develop action plans.- Coordination, analysis, and monitoring of improvement action plans to reduce internal rejections.- Coordination, analysis, and monitoring of improvement action plans to reduce the cost of poor quality.- Establish detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked and what the quality standards are.- Work in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality protocols are followed and documentation is properly maintained and implement new changes or adaptations based on a quality review.- Development of the strategy of the quality assurance team for the fulfillment of its objectives.- Update the quality management system with incidents, corrections, and improvements.- Audit the quality management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.- Determine quality metrics.- Work with multidisciplinary teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving product quality.- Coordination of continuous improvement project focused on quality.- Monthly report of intern results and coordinate action plans with multidisciplinary teams- Evaluate workloads of assigned personnel and adjust according to requirements- Organize meetings when a risk of impact on safety and quality is detected- Skills and Qualifications:- Knowledge requirements- Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering methods and techniques, quality concepts related to manufacturing operations.- Problem Solving Techniques - 8D- Core Tools: Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances)- ISO 9001 // IATF- Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing- SAP advanced**Language**:Fluent English Language, both written and oral skills are required. Regionally appropriate second language is a plus.**Education**:Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality, or other related field, or equivalent business experience.**Experience**:3 to 5 years' experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and process development Quality or related fields at manufacturing companies.
