The SWAT Q team Lead is the Engineer responsible to assign and locate the resources dedicated to perform the root cause analysis, as well as provide guidance and lead the technical and management meetings for the platform assigned.In the early development phases, The SWAT Q team lead should be able to collect the diagnostic data required to process the product through the plant system and interface with the manufacturing, IT and Process Vehicle Engineering teams, preparing the plant to build and process prototype vehicles. This interface corresponds to match the process requirements and provide guidance and troubleshoot capacity for the electrical end of line process at the assembly plants.The Swat Q team lead will provide the tracker for the issues found on the early stages of the properties used to validate the systems and continue tracking the issues as they evolve during the different phases.The Electrical Launch Support and Root Cause Engineer is responsible for directing and coordinating troubleshooting and repair activities at engineering and assembly facilities for prototype and production level vehicles. The Engineer will support a variety of launch activities at assembly plants and pilot plants, conduct repairs, perform customer audit testing, participate in management update meetings, investigate problems found on early prototype engineering vehicles and coordinate interim and long term solutions with the component releasing engineers. The Engineer will also gather engineering teams from multiple engineering disciplines and direct them in solving complex vehicle problems, provide remote and direct support for dealerships experiencing difficult problems with vehicles and will work with zone representatives that are supporting vehicle dealerships and perform electrical validation testing and document results as required.
