Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of, and access to, our most important resource: data.**Your Role and Responsibilities**The Red Hat Administrator will be part of a team that provides implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our client z/OS Db2 environments. The administrator will be responsible for collaborating with members of our Technical Delivery Teams and Architecture teams to support and improve the delivery of managed services.This is a critical infrastructure role on business-criticalservices that require team support 24x7 365. A support model is in place to cover the 24x7 requirement across administrators with shared standby and overtime responsibilities. The administrator will be responsible for:- The build, deployment, support,and performance of systemso- Maintaining compliance to avoid data loss and unauthorized access**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**- Senior Experience Demonstrate engineering excellence in the design, systems management, patching, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Linux based operating systems.- Background in Linux Tools (RHEL 7/8, Ansible, Satellite, RHV).- Fluent using Red Hat CLI with solid understanding of Linux kernel on OS initialization- Detect and recovery from node- and service-level failures.- Ability to ensure data integrity by fencing faulty nodes- Support for one or more nodes per cluster- Support for multiple resource interface standards- Understand LVM and Spectrum Scale and NFS Ganesha and fdisk, Pacemaker Clustering- Understand patching and vulnerability as it relate Red Hat Operating System.**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**- Storage background with DB2 and SQL- Middleware experience with WAS and ACE- AIX and Windows Server Administration experience**About Business Unit**The IBM CEO organization is responsible for driving enterprise performance and transformation.
