The main task is to identify & evaluate customer needs and propose system, products, and service solutions to the Customer and to the KA PM & R&D team. In addition, the role is responsible for providing technical support for Customers and KA Program managers, sales on system & products to assure smooth and correct development of KA projects.ResponsibilitiesTechnical support to Customers and to KA Program managers locally, sales, and globally when required.Identify & evaluate system and components opportunities at the customer for KA.Support central R&D with local requirements for new product development.Propose system solutions to market by creating ideas, pushing KA R&D to design and make prototypes for customer evaluation.Present system & product ideas to Customers.Execute trial installations on customer vehicles of KA products and systems proposals.Organize technical workshops with Customer R&D teams to show new systems & products.Support KA to get new business by searching new opportunities, ideas, and being informed by customer strategies, new vehicles & systems developments plans.Completion of development engineering tasks as identified in Kongsberg Product Development processes (KBD-NPI & PIP).Support the development of new products that align with Kongsberg Automotive's Strategic Plan.Contribute to department and project performance according to valid routines, processes, and standards.Ensure completion of design documents and properly file them into appropriate project folders.Coordinate and manage samples manufacturing within production plants, including procurement of Tier II manufactured components.RequirementsBackground in Automotive Engineering.Electro-mechanical & control systems engineering experience.Degree in Mechanical/Electro Mechanical Engineering.Experience in product simulation FEA & CFD is considered a high advantage.Foreign language knowledge or skills is an advantage.Application / ContactIf this sounds interesting and likely the right challenge for you, we look forward to receiving your application!Please register your CV/resume and cover letter
