**Opportunity**BASIC RESPONSIBILITIESMember of the SFO Supply Chain operation organization, this position will be responsible for all aspects of the inventory management process, inventory control, system integration, creation, and maintenance of Materials Master Data in SAP.
This includes everything from inventory tracking to conducting an inventory audit to inventory and system maintenance.
Leading the team of inventory cycle counting and SAP master data.
This position will:TARGETS- Plan, implement, and manage procedures to optimize inventory control.- The main point of contact to support SFO supply chain team members as an SAP super user- Responsible for actual inventory counts; must be knowledgeable about inventory items to be counted, the counting procedures used, and the locations of all inventories.- Design and implement an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures.- Ensuring all inventory counts are done correctly, including but not limited to annual physical inventory counting, inventory cycle count, or data from perpetual inventory management software or an order management system.- Track and control inventory movements on SAP ensuring employees are properly trained.- Resolve inventory discrepancies including, but not limited to research, cycle count for missing product, adjust inventory quantities, print labels, handle damaged inventory, disposing of inventory.- Report on operational errors impacting inventory performance.- Define inventory control and stock levels KPIs and track them regularly- Augment existing automated master data and digital media management processes through effective master data stewardship.- Senior expert associated with the content, processes and, procedures involved with SAP.- Provide support for core data needs in the ERP system.- Analyze and examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine the correct stock.- Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and covers the customer demand.- Create detailed reports for adjustments in inventory operations and stock levels.- Provide support on defining the best flow of material and information.- Identify cost/waste reduction opportunities through stock counts and inventory analysis.- Use of different techniques to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory.- Analyze data to anticipate future needs and report to the upper management on stock levels, inventory accuracy, excess and obsoletes, inventory control issues, etc.- Collaborate with all supply chain employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.- Identify & improve cost/waste reduction opportunities through proper system and controls.
**Skills/Requirements**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, information technology or related field.- Minimum of 2 years' hand-on Supply Chain system, continuous improvement and PFEP experience
