In this role, you will be a member of a team working on IC design review, IC hardware testing, software development, system engineering, and customer applications.Responsibilities:Work with engineering teams for early-stage silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation efforts.Collaborate with software teams to evaluate integrated system performance.Test and characterize HW/SW interaction, Digital and RF device performance at various operating conditions (voltage, process, and thermal).Work with the production, RF, and SW test teams to develop effective production screens for system-level issues during volume ramp.Understand chipset architecture and test board designs, deliver NPI and production test solutions.Validate new system-level testers for our 5G product roadmap and testing automation tools to execute and analyze the test outputs.The individual selected for the position needs to be proactive, able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, enthusiastic to work as an individual contributor, and passionate about owning deliverables and delivering quality work.Minimum Qualifications:2-6 years of hands-on silicon validation experience ranging across System/SW/bench test/HW-SW interactions, preferably in the mobile devices/microprocessor industry.Experience in analyzing specifications, HW schematics/data sheets, and developing silicon validation test cases.Thorough working knowledge of Android Architecture, Android Boot process, Kernel, Core BSP, and Android Performance.Thorough working knowledge of computer architecture & operating systems (Android/Windows/Linux).Experience with characterizing Processors, Graphics, Memory, Thermal, and Power performance of SOCs.Hands-on debugging/triaging experience using Android debugging tools and/or using JTAG Lauterbach/Trace32.Experience working with Perforce, GIT, or other Source Control SW.Experience with using measurement equipment e.G., Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Wireless Network Simulators.Preferred Qualifications:Fresh college graduates with relevant interests and intern experience are welcome to apply.Embedded SW development/FPGA programming is a plus.Experience in C#, .NET Framework, C/C++, Perl/Python is a plus.SW development exposure to Android/Windows/Linux platform is a plus.Experience in analyzing RF specifications, creating test plans, and test execution is a plus.Hands-on skills in RF measurements, 3GPP specifications, Bench characterization, new instrument evaluations, and production solution development is a plus.Education Requirements:Required: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
