Responsible for ensuring that the company's infrastructure always works. Manage the load configuration of a server cluster environment and make recommendations for purchase or upgrade. Propose and implement solutions (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the infrastructure. Apply capacity planning to business recommendations. Serve as the first point of contact for performance analysis, scalability, and service architecture/database infrastructure issues. May be asked to coordinate with other IT and production departments' equipment and upgrades, monitor, test, and service the database/systems.
