Experience what's next at Avnet!Job Summary:Primary integration manufacturing engineer for Avnet's Integration facility. Consults with customers on a regular basis concerning integration set-up, design, development and maintenance of product. Coordinates and documents manufacturing procedures. Assists sales channel, field teams and customers with technical solutions to support the customer's business objectives.Assists in analyzing data to determine feasibility of product proposal.May be required to integrate and document Order Specific Information (OSI), first article, engineering validation and prototype orders.Resolves all technical and process related issues. Documents build process and trains production staff on customer requirements, as well as industry best practices. Consults with other technology staff to evaluate operational and performance requirements of overall design/prototype.Confers with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problems. Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout. Directs and coordinates building/manufacturing of product or system.Reviews change requests, evaluates impact of change, and provides implementation timelines.May implement Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to document and build process. Communicates Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) to production, sales, and customer engineering team.Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.Other duties as assigned.Work Experience:Typically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.Education and Certification(s):Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.What We Offer:Our employees work hard to live our values and help us grow.
