You will be accountable to coach and develop engineering hiring leads to ensure we grow at pace, without compromising on quality.**Key Responsibilities**You will.- Build key relationships with global Engineering stakeholders, understand their needs and deliver commercial and creative sourcing plans to match our high growth hiring plans.- Develop and evaluate the most effective sourcing methods to ensure Canonical stays ahead of the curve, in hiring the best possible engineering talent around the globe.- Conduct behavioral HR interviews with pipeline talent, and provide information on onboarding in a remote first organisation.- Review and streamline internal processes and tools - embrace lean operations and drive continuous improvement.- Work with external third parties (agencies and talent partners) to ensure we maximise our return on investment.- Drive recruitment analytics to provide our business with real-time insight, partnering with the business to help them move through their hiring processes.- Have a passion for diversity and inclusion, ensuring we remove unconscious bias from our hiring process and ensuring our sourcing strategy underpins this.- Manage a Recruitment Coordinator and work closely to support the business.**Required Skills and Experience**- Bachelor's degree (minimum)- In-house Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience (Engineering - Python, Go, Java) from a global, high growth, technology company (it is essential you can demonstrate experience of working in an HR function with either regional or global reach).- Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and be seen as a trusted hiring partner to the business, as well as challenge the status quo.- Experienced working in a data driven organisation where you are able to use metrics to fuel decision making and influence positive change.- Successful track record of managing projects alongside BAU hiring agendas.- Experience of competency based interviewing with the ability to train stakeholders and advise on how to get the best out of an interview.- Excellent verbal and written English.- Working knowledge of ATS tools (Greenhouse preferred) and Linked In Recruiter/Talent Solutions
