About our client Our client is an investment management company focused on lodging real estate investments in Mexico with properties in the broader Caribbean region. The company is sponsored by a private equity manager committed to building best-in-class real estate platforms in Mexico. The position is based in Mexico City. What the job involves Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company's tax database Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits Make sure the group complies with federal, state, and local tax regulations Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports Keep up to date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications Who we are looking for Solid experience in accounting/audit, and/or real estate/hospitality private equity or hotel management company Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations Bachelor's degree in accounting English full professional proficiency Strong analytical, management and number skills Save role Log in to apply #J-18808-Ljbffr
