The Tax Analyst is a member of the Controllership team in Mexico, responsible for supporting tax-accounting activities for the local MI Company.
Current Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Closing Supporting Activities / Responsibilities: Insurance Company Activities: Internal and external audit support for domestic financial and tax purposes (including CNSF audits).IRS / VAT Retention Accruals accounting.RR5 ACTIV Solvency II Reporting.Balance sheet Accounts Reconciliation process according to corporate guidelines (Tax Related).Assist with all financial integration and automation efforts.Service Company Activities: Payroll Accounting Review.Cybershift Accounting / reconciliations.Expenses & Amortizations accounting.Process and store monthly voucher receipts.XML PO's / Requisitions & Invoice Supporting Processes.Fixed Assets US / MEX GAAP Accounting.Additional Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Closing Activities / Responsibilities: Develop Financial Analysis Tools to provide a qualitative business performance follow-up.Supporting treasury Activities / Function in coordination with corporate and controllership standards.Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual tax returns as well as other local applicable taxes.Supporting US / MEX GAAP Reserves Accounting Process.Local Investment Accounting and Reconciliation.Work to propose / enforce improvement of controls and procedures.
