TE Connectivity's Tax Teams develop and implement systems to compile information for various federal, state, and local reports. They ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns. They assess tax implications surrounding pending mergers and acquisitions. The Tax Teams recommend ways to minimize corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations. They may administer international tax laws and regulations and also audit financial records to determine tax liability.**What your background should look like**:**General Activities**:- Support on the ruled based Income taxes preparation and indirect taxes (VAT) calculation. Provide support during related tax accounting.- Support on income taxes preparation and support of income tax accounting, compliance, and audits as well as support in tax planning for all state and local jurisdictions and cross-border activities.- Indirect taxes preparation and support of accounting (ruled based postings). Also provide support on compliance, audit request, planning and assistance to business.- Support on indirect taxes (VAT) recovery.- Ruled based (non-judgmental) financial tax statement preparation regarding on quarterly and annual regulatory filings.- Proactive work regarding standardization, automation and process improvements to ensure effective Indirect compliance.- Ensure robust Tax compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes.- Support global transfer pricing processes, planning, documentation, and audit defense- Financial statement tax accounting (U.S. GAAP and Local GAAP) regarding TE´s quarterly and annual regulatory filings as well as forecasting of results- Support in providing documents/reports/information requested by respective authorities,- Support on Tax ruled based R2R processes.- Support the preparation monthly, quarterly and annual reports required in the region. Perform quality review for the statutory and tax reports. Elaborate ad-hoc reports required by authorities and internal customers/stakeholders. Ensure the consistency of chapter of account to local and global books.- Cooperate with and report to the Indirect Tax Process Team Leader.- Other tasks in the Indirect Tax related areas of compliance and processes.**General Requirements**:- Education: Bacherlor's degree in Accountant, Administration, Finances, related to the position.- Experience: At least 2 years in Tax areas.- Knowledges: Tax analysis, general accountant, administration.- Software: SAT portal, Excel, SAP.- Language: Desirable English communication skills but not mandatory.**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
