This role will work with other indirect tax team members in a variety nctional áreas to support customers, vendors, internal partners, and tax authorities.The Tax Analyst is a member of the indirect tax team. This role will cover all aspects of the indirect tnction and will Confidencial working with other members of the indirect tax team. The Tax Analyst role works with other members of the indirect tax team to () Respond to requesom customers, vendors, internal partners, and tax authorities; () Review transactions to determine the appropriate taxability; () Identify any overpayments or underpayments of tax related to the operations of the various business units; () Respond to notices, inquiries and other communicatioom tax authorities; () Work with SAP and Tax reporting systems to assist with pulling information necessar resolving issues and support of tax compliance and reporting activities; and () Other projects or tasks as necessary to support the indirect tnction.You-ll do:Reviews sales, purchase, and intercompany transactions to determine and advise on the correct taxability.Support tax audits by tax authorities by obtaining supporting documents as needed and requested by the indirect tax team member leading the tax audit.Provide any tax or system data to the tax compliance team to support the accurate and timeling of tax returnsby the compliance team.Work with the Accounts Payable team to address tax discrepancies that prevent the timely issuance of payments.Assist with tax reviews (reverse audits) of the various business units to identify and resolve any over or underpayments of tax.Support preparation and submission of claims related to tax refundsProvide suppor ongoing IT projects related to indirect taxesProvide any inputs needed nance and Controllership teams to accurately and timely reconcile tax accounts.Develop a strong working knowledge of SAP and Tax reporting systemsWho you areCandidatr this role must have:First-level university degree or equivalent Importante empresa.Typically, - years of related Importante empresa in accounting or tax.In addition to the basic qualifications noted above, nd that individuals who are successful in this role have:General knowledge of accounting principles.Strong communication skills.Knowledge of Excel and manipulation of dataKnowledge of indirect tax concepts is desirableKnowledge of tax and/or accounting software is desirable.Joining DXC connects you to brilliant people who embrace change and seize opportunities to advance their careers and amplify customer success.
