The Company's scale and strong local presence are critical to its success, allowing leverage of the technology portfolio and customer relationships globally while meeting customer demands locally.Axalta operates its business in two operating segments: Performance Coatings and Transportation Coatings, serving four end markets, including: Refinish, Industrial, Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle, across the following four regions: North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.Primary Responsibilities:- Collaborate with all functions to ensure tax reporting /compliance, accounting, and controversy aspects are appropriately assessed and documented.- Assist with the identification and execution of tax and transfer pricing strategies in conjunction with ongoing business activities as well as with respect to new business initiatives across all business operations and geographies. This includes, for example, providing Federal tax law information and interpretations by researching codes, rules and regulations to provide advice on technical tax ramifications.- Support planning, modeling and evaluation of global tax implications of dividend and cash repatriation plans. This includes evaluating U.S. tax implications as well as global withholding tax positions. Analyze, advise and execute on the most tax efficient opportunities given the global tax legislative environment.- Assist in special projects. This includes items such as supply chain optimization, withholding tax cash repatriation planning, merger and acquisition tax issues, ongoing structure maintenance, tax incentives, etc.Supporting the preparation of domestic and foreign transfer pricing documentation (including through projects with external advisors) in line with IRS section 482 regulations, OECD guidelines, and local transfer pricing rules
