We operate in Mexico and have a strong foothold in the industry As a Tax Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, optimizing tax planning strategies, and safeguarding our financial interests. Your expertise will directly impact our financial health and growth trajectory.**Duties & Responsibilities**Tax Compliance and Reporting:- Oversee the preparation of all tax filings, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.- Manage tax accounting staff responsible for accurate and timely reporting.- Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, advising the organization accordingly.Tax Planning and Strategy:- Evaluate the tax implications of company activities, including international transactions.- Develop and implement tax-saving strategies to minimize our tax obligations.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tax planning with business objectives.Vendor and Advisor Management:- Manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and other relevant vendors.- Ensure efficient communication and collaboration to optimize tax-related processes.- Provide support as needed to the other countries in the region as per projects or temporary assignments.Risk Mitigation:- Identify potential tax risks and proactively address them.- Provide guidance to senior management on tax-related decisions.Budget and Forecasting:- Contribute to strategic decisions by providing insights related to tax implications.- Assist in developing the tax budget and forecasting.**Diversity & Inclusion**We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
