Reconcile accounting, fiscal and transfer pricing numbers, including transfer price study and execute monthly tax reconciliations in order to ensure the consistency and data entry of tax information into underlying Accounting records. Ensure all Returns and cash payments are filed accurately and on a timely basis.As Tax Senior Specialist you will:Support the preparation of Excise, VAT and Income Tax, review Tax reports/returns, Informative Tax reports, Transfer price reports and ensure they are reported on time. Process tax payments. Prepare and submit all external audit tax requirements for the entities.Provide information and support to the Tax Manager to manage tax queries and requests for information from tax authorities. Take part in discussions with Tax Advisors on new rules and regulations (or interpretations).Support the team to reassess end-to-end processes to further improve the tax control environment and the efficiency and effectiveness of JTI finance and tax processes. Document existing processes and controls to assess risk and identify opportunities for improvement.Assist the Tax Manager to complete the Local and IFRS Tax Reporting Package to Group, which calculates Income and Deferred Tax. Quarterly reconciliation of Tax accounts VAT, Excise Tax, IT and WHT VAT and IT.Help develop tax strategies to minimize tax burden/advance tax collection. Coordinate with external Tax Consultants and Regional and HQ Teams to develop tax positions. Ensure communication is clear and transparent for the business to understand benefit and risk.Within 6 months you will:Learn about our main tax for the industry, excise tax.Increase your expertise in managing our tax and regulatory compliance, collaborating with external tax consultants to ensure we meet all obligations.Obtain deeper knowledge and learn about transfer pricing, where you'll oversee policy monitoring and documentation.Contribute to the design and implementation of our accounting to tax reconciliation processes and support tax and financial audits.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.2-4 years of experience in a tax-related position.Desire experience with Big 4 Tax firms or/and FMGC.Knowledge of corporate tax requirements and IFRS familiarity a plus.Knowledge of accounting systems is an asset.High accuracy and attention to detail.Strong team player with the ability to work independently.At JTI, we strive to create a diverse and inclusive work environment
