Joining our TUI MM Caribbean finance team you will be responsible for local tax activity in Mexico.
ABOUT THE JOB
Monthly and annual income tax calculation
Income tax returns submission in monthly and yearly basis.
(Net Operating / Tax losses, CUCA, CUFIN, Profit ratio, depreciation and amortization for fiscal purposes calculation)
Value Added Tax (VAT) calculation and submission
DIOT informative return submission
Monthly withholding (Professional fees, ground transportation and foreigner payments) calculation and submission
Electronic accounting
Annual informative returns preparation and submission
You will also be involved in creating journal entries and assemble supporting documentation
Assist auditors providing information related tax and GL accounting
Support to the Finance Manager on the payroll and other month-end postings.
Responsible for local internal control (COSO) documentation and evidence preparation
Active role in local tax related matters, with relevant experience liaising with advisors in tax, audit, and legal areas
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor's degree in accounting or in any other relevant finance field
Proven experience delivering high quality business partnering is a must, and strong approach to dealing with high levels of ambiguity and considerable change
Cultural awareness and welcome diversity
Excellent communication skills to senior leadership audience
An open minded individual regarding change as a chance, thereby being able to find more than one solution to a challenge
Clear drive for results, ability to work through obstacles, persistent in identifying quality recommendations
Strong Excel skills and ability to think and work analytically
Excellent bilingual Spanish - English language skills, both verbal and written
**Knowledge in accounting as follows**:
Deferred tax calculation
Tax accounts reconciliation
Monthly income tax accrual
Journal entries proposal related to tax matters
Experience providing information to internal, external audits and transfer pricing studies reviewers
ERP (enterprise resource planning) experience, SAP would be an advantage
