Descripción Lead LATAM Technology practice for VAT and indirect tax systems, supporting the Global Tax Technology Leader.Oversee LATAM Tax Technology aspects of Oracle R12/Tax engine for Mexico, Brazil, etc.Manage indirect tax requirements: gather data, design solutions, test, train, and assist in cut-over and troubleshooting.Maintain production systems, handling updates, maintenance, and issue resolution with stakeholders.Lead deployment of compliance tools across LATAM.Drive new LATAM indirect tax technology projects, including e-invoicing and real-time reporting requirements.Perfil buscado Over 6 years of experience in tax technology projects within a multinational setting.Advanced conversational English.Master's degree in Economics, IT, Finance, or related fields is advantageous.Skilled in using tax engines like Vertex O Series, OneSource, or Avalara (Vertex or Thomson Reuters certification is highly desirable).Familiarity with Oracle ERP and proficiency in SQL and/or PL/SQL are essential.Experienced with analytical and reconciliation tools, including Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, and Dataiku.In-depth understanding of LATAM indirect tax regulations (VAT and others), with particular expertise in the Mexican VAT system.Qué Ofrecemos Additional Benefits.
