Major Job Responsibilities:
- Checking of component/material data sheets regarding legal and customer-specific requirements. (Analyzing MDS submitted by supplier in the IMDS)
- Utilize bills of material for part structure in IMDS in order to create Modules.
- Entering data into the IMDS system.
- Data quality checking of reported IMDS by suppliers and decision making of accepting or rejecting, with respect to customer quality/standards and IMDS rules.
- Validation of supplier material datasheets as per IMDS recommendation.
- Analyzing BOM and Creation of Material datasheets based on Bill of Material for Automotive Component Parts (in compliance with ELV Directive).
- Creating IMDS for manufactured assembly parts.
- Monitoring the project schedule, reporting and status tracking.
- Hands on work and coordinating with different global teams (internally + externally).
- Guide suppliers in creating IMDS for their products according to customer requirements and IMDS rules.
Major Job Qualifications/Specific Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor degree: ME/Materials/ChemE/Industrial
- English language skills mandatory.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good attitude and team player skills.
- Proactive approach.
- Knowledge of cross-cultural communications.
- Good abilities of coordination activities.
- Must be able to multi-task, be very organized, detail oriented.
- Ability to interact effectively with all hierarchic levels is necessary.
Preferred:
- IMDS reporting experience
- RoHS / REACH // ELV / POP / PFAS
