Start your future with BorgWarner now!**Job Description**:The Configuration Management Engineer role is responsible for all aspects of Systems Configuration Management. Is responsible for the identification, management, and tracking of configuration management activities for BW Power Drive Systems projects. This role requires working closely with Project Leads and System and Software Engineers and is the interface to global platform stakeholders for CM activities.**Responsibilities**:- Identify configuration work products.- Establish a configuration management structure for system artifacts.- Define the configuration items to be included in system releases.- Maintain configuration management documentation in adherence to BorgWarner processes.- Track and provide configuration management status.- Manage the CM plan within the BorgWarner toolchain.- Support the change control process.- Support defect resolution tracking.- Assist the project leadership in planning of software releases.- Support work product baselining.- Support internal and external audits.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar- 5+ years engineering experience in automotive engineering, or master's engineering degree, certification or coursework.- Strong writing and verbal communication skills- Fluent English Language proficiency (Must)Preferred Experience- Automotive systems, software or electronics experience preferred- Experience with functional safety (ISO26262) requirements.- Knowledge of Cyber security (ISO 21434)- Experience of working within an ASPICE based process environment (or similar)- Previous experience using configuration management tools- Experience project tracking tools (e.G., JIRA, RTC)
