.Position: Senior SAFe Agile Project Manager - Senior Job Summary: The Senior SAFe Agile Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of Agile projects using the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). Working closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and various cross-functional teams, this role ensures the successful delivery of projects while adhering to Agile principles. The Senior SAFe Agile Project Manager focuses on driving Agile practices across multiple teams, supporting the scaling of Agile methodologies, and helping teams achieve their goals in alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- SAFe Framework Support: Support the adoption and implementation of the SAFe framework across the organization, ensuring teams understand and follow SAFe best practices.
- Sprint Execution: Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to ensure smooth execution of sprint cycles, supporting planning, backlog refinement, and tracking team progress.
- Agile Ceremonies: Help facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Program Increment (PI) planning sessions.
- Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with development, testing, and operations teams to align project goals and deliverables, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and assist in resolving project issues and roadblocks, escalating challenges when necessary to the Program Manager or senior leadership.
- Reporting & Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as velocity, sprint progress, and project health to key stakeholders.
- Agile Coaching: Act as a mentor to teams, guiding them in Agile practices and SAFe principles, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Risk Management: Assist in identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to project stakeholders and leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals. Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications: o SAFe Agilist (SA) or other relevant SAFe certifications are highly preferred. o CSM, PMI-ACP, or other Agile certifications are an advantage.
- Experience: o 5+ years of experience in project management using Agile methodologies, with at least 3 years working in a SAFe environment. o Hands-on experience working with Agile teams, facilitating ceremonies, and managing projects in a collaborative environment. o Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Rally is a plus
