We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Team Lder Cash Payms and RecsThe purpose of this role is to lead a team of processors and/or checkers to ensure that transactions are processed accurately and that transactions are passed without defects.
Job role is performed and engage along international teams from other regions within HSBC.The Team Leader is responsible for:- Ensuring the team delivers in line with its demand statements- Planning and prioritisation of day to day services across the team- Managing end of day checks and Report validation- Supporting the implementation of change programmes that impact the direct team or process (IT / Business Teams)- Maintaining Operating Procedures in accordance with the Business Service's Operating Model and local requirements- Managing investigations & follow-up and escalations, including supervising MI (management information)**Requirements**:**Qualifications**:- Posgraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Economics or Business Administration or related field with more than 5 years of experience in accounting/financial reporting, mainly in Accounting reconciliation.- Excellent communication skills - Written & Verbal.- Advance written and spoken business English.- Ability to understand numbers and their impact drive and achieve accuracies across report deliveries.- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word).
**Skills**:- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation, to build cohesive working relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.- Working across cultures and in matrixed organizational structures.- Sound judgment skills to identify and resolve problems.- Self-motivated with attitude of "would like to learn" and quick learning ability.- Able to multi-task and work under pressure, in particular in a change environment
