We're looking for a motivated and driven Finance Lead (f/m/d) to join our team.
Your Tasks - Paint the world green
- Develop financial strategies and plans that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial statements in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage cash flow and ensure the company has adequate funds to meet its obligations
- Manage Flix local banking needs, execute partner payments and settlements
- Analyse financial data and provide financial advice to the senior management team
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Manage the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Coordinate and manage local consultants or advisers in accounting, taxes, corporate matters
- Implement, manage and operate financial systems and processes in Mexico (ie Oracle)
- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and other stakeholders
- Work with local team and Global Finance team to accomplish all financial needs
Your Profile - Ready to hop on board
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and laws in Mexico
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong technical fluency in relevant Office tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
- Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
- Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or CA preferred
- Significant practical experience in project management and proven track record of taking ownership and successfully driving projects
- Strong skills in stakeholder management and the ability to work efficiently with people in different functions of the company
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with dynamically changing tasks and priorities
