We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.We are looking for a Team Lead for Service delivery, Projects, People IT management who will lead, guide and advise the project team and will be responsible for managing and developing people and monitoring the timeline of ongoing projects.If you have an advanced level of English, strong experience in leadership and conduct IT projects at different levels, this opportunity is for you.What you'll be doingPeople ManagementProvides guidance to others who are driving delivery of day-to-day projects.PlanningAdvises the team on a range of approaches to planning and gathering information across functional and cross-functional projects.Will be responsible for ensuring standards are in place and followed by the team.May be responsible for planning team growth requirements.Stakeholder ManagementIdentifies and anticipates project engagement needs on behalf of the team's projects in order to advise team members when required.Encourages feedback on the team or individuals.Is an escalation point to resolve stakeholder issues within the team.CommunicationsAdvises on communication requirements and improves the team's communications standards.Advises the team to think more broadly or more focused on consistent communications as and when required.Risk ManagementAdvises the team on risk and issue management and the appropriate levels of control.Supports the team on the resolution of escalated issues.Project/Program DeliveryGuides and oversees the team to successfully complete their projects on time, within budget, quality, and scope.Resource Management (people, finances etc.)Will provide management updates on a variety of resource management KPIs.Is an escalation point for the team for solving resource/budgetary issues.Contributes and/or is responsible for resource planning (people, finances etc.) activities.Project and Program Management FrameworksEffectively communicates project management methodology and its application to customer solutions.What we'll expect from youSolid previous experience in IT/Data Center/Telecom experience.Bachelor's Degree.Previous experience as role lead/people and delivery service projects.What's the difference if you have?Certification ITIL, PMI or PMO.Spanish language skills.Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
