Requisition ID: 38680- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXDue to expansion of the Credit management team in our Shared Service Centre in Apodaca we are looking for Team Lead Cash Application with good active English language level (both verbal and written).

In this role you will monitor your team's performance for securing bank account reconciliation, tracking and addressing open unapplied cash, missing clearings and arrange their settlement. You will be in regular contact with persons securing collection and other departments within Danfoss.

**Responsibilities**:
You & your team's main tasks will further be to
- Secure daily allocation of incoming payments and reconciliation of bank accounts, based on solid organizational structure have back-up for any step in the process.
- Assess risk and perform related controls to evaluate validity of incoming payments.
- Follow up and communicate with internal customers to ensure cash is cleared timely, as well as cases where payments are not possible to clear, that they are resolved promptly.
- Building relationship with the Internal stakeholders and be the frontier for them to approach would there be any update / issue / escalation.
- Maintain accurate process execution to secure compliances with internal standards and procedures.
- Assess quality levels of cash allocation and clearings, as well as identifying short falls from performance levels and deviations from standard operational procedures.
- Identify root causes of issues causing processing issues. Report findings to management and suggest & perform possible courses of action to remedy.
- Responsible for delivering training of new team members and others as needed, based on hands-on approach and own extensive experience within the Cash Application field.
- Handle special projects as assigned and take lead on identifying areas of improvement and/or automation options to enhance efficiency and quality. Lead and/or assist with the implementation of corporate wide system initiatives and upgrades; support and/or participate in User Acceptance Testing, and rollouts of new or enhanced technology and/or processes.

People management responsibilities
- Team leadership in daily operation including workload management for the team via tracking and reporting metrics, as well as securing a back-up structure allowing for individuals absence.
- Participating in hiring process, securing onboarding of new employees, hosting monthly one on ones and secure development of the individual team members.
- Provide training and coaching on soft and technical skills within the team.
- Secure guidance and communication of new processes and operational changes
- Secure communication across the team to ensure all key messages are shared.

**Background & Skills**:
**Requirements**:

- Minimum high school education in area of accounting or relevant work experience
- Previous experience in supervision or leadership position in a high volume and time sensitive environment preferred, e.g. from in-house or outsourced Shared Service Centers
- B2/C1 level of English (mandatory)
- Organizational understanding and effective communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within demanding timelines.
- Leading by example with a hands-on approach - demonstrating detailed insights and full process overview - as well as skilled in doing trainings and secure learnings of others
- Self-motivated individual with a "can do" attitude paying attention to the details and a strong Think Danfoss & Do Business like your own attitude.
- Team player; Positive and open-minded attitude with high own engagement and motivation of others
- Solid SAP experience and system understanding within Cash Application and familiar with MS Office applic
