We are seeking a Team Lead Cash Application with strong English skills (both verbal and written). In this role, you will monitor your team's performance in bank account reconciliation, tracking unapplied cash, and arranging settlements. You will regularly interact with collection personnel and other departments within Danfoss.
Main Tasks: Ensure daily allocation of incoming payments and bank account reconciliation.
Assess risks and perform controls to validate incoming payments.
Communicate with internal customers to ensure timely cash clearance and resolve issues promptly.
Build relationships with internal stakeholders and act as their main contact for updates/issues.
Maintain accurate process execution to ensure compliance with internal standards.
Assess cash allocation and clearing quality, identifying performance shortfalls and deviations.
Identify and report root causes of processing issues, suggesting remedies.
Collaborate with other Shared Service Centers to standardize payment handling.
Train new team members and others as needed, based on extensive Cash Application experience.
Handle special projects, identify improvement areas, and lead system initiatives and upgrades.
People Management Responsibilities: Lead daily operations, manage team workload, and ensure backup structures.
Participate in hiring, onboard new employees, and conduct monthly one-on-one meetings.
Provide training and coaching on soft and technical skills.
Communicate new processes and operational changes.
Ensure key messages are shared across the team.
Requirements:
Minimum high school education in accounting or relevant work experience.
Experience in a supervisory role in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment, preferably in Shared Service Centers.
B2/C1 level of English (mandatory).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
Hands-on leadership approach and ability to train others.
Self-motivated with attention to detail and a strong business mindset.
Team player with a positive attitude and high engagement.
Solid SAP experience and intermediate-level Excel skills.
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards is an advantage.
