This segment is classified into two main product groupings: carrier network and enterprise network.Production SupervisorDirect team operations group to achieve Cost, Quality, Health and Safety objectives. Execute the plant plan objectives at the tactical level focused on continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute operating plan to achieve team objectives.Provide immediate supervision to subordinates to execute assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies.Review team performance with team members at regular intervals.Build effective relations with plant support groups.Conduct hourly/direct labor employee performance reviews and provide coaching as needed.Ensure team executes documented operating procedures and follows established document control protocols.Ensure the protection of Corning's Intellectual Property (IP).Implement and monitor training and certification plans.Hold reports accountable for adherence to established procedures and setpoints for process control; ensures awareness and compliance to changes.Experiences / Education - RequiredBachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts.Computer skills (Excel - Basic formulas, and Word).Experiences / Education - DesiredBachelor of Science (Engineering or technical).1-3 years work experience in a manufacturing environment.1 year previous supervisory experience.Basic problem solving skills (e.G.
