_The activities we are carrying out are ranging from load planning tasks_, logistics procurement and sourcing_ to short-term solution finding in alignment of supply related environment and in harmonization with logistic _conditions._ _You_ will _supervise_ _a diverse team of professionals who are_ managing the _short and long term_ _targets_ for UPM _Raflatac_ Mexico, but also for Central and South America.
- _Kip A Lackey, Logistics Manager, AmericasWhat you will do- Manage local day-to-day supply and logistics activities and resourcing and a team of supply chain personnel to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organization's supply chain- Develop and implement supply and logistics plans, schedules and procedures- Coordinate materials supply, storage, distribution and order delivery, seeking the optimization of available resources to meet the business needs- Manage ongoing relationships with suppliers, vendors, or sub-contractors to minimize costs and ensure the organization receives agreed standards of service- Who you are- You have an academic degree or equivalent professional qualification- You have logistic experience in planning either land or sea transportation- Previous experience in managing teams is required- You communicate with internal stakeholders and cooperate in international teams well- You have a forward-thinking way of working and possess a solution-oriented mindset- You have a great ability to work in a time-sensitive situation- You have a good knowledge of OTM and other logistic relevant systems- You are fluent in EnglishThis is what we offer for you- A meaningful job - We have an inspiring purpose 'We create a future beyond fossils.
