This position is responsible for supporting the QA and Sanitation Supervisor department on conducting and performing all Quality and Sanitation check for the company. The quality Tech examines the manufactured products, production and major services to ensure that they meet all established standards. He/she must be a person capable of foreseeing situations that may affect the quality of the product before any type of failure or defect occurs.- Supporting the QA Supervisor on maintaining all current regulatory programs (HACCP, PrimusGFS, Food Safety Management System, Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures). Verify that they are properly implemented, understood by the staff, and maintained.- Internal audits- Mock Recalls- Daily shelf life logs- Corrective Actions- Daily visual temperature checks- Light bulb/shield inspection- Monthly temperature calibrations- Glass/brittle plastic audit- Ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and food safety procedures are understood, reinforced and all levels of the Company and monitored throughout all areas of the physical plant.- Review and verify HACCP/PrimusGFS paperwork to ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate.- Monitor daily, quality control specs are being maintained in packing order, receiving and storage.- Train and assist operators to perform their quality control functions.- Inform management of issues so corrective action can be taken.- Establish goals and objectives in a timely and thorough manner.- Must have great attention to detail.Languages: English : 70%Certifications:- FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management SystemsHACCP,pcqi**Skills**:- Excellent verbal and written communicationProblem solvingTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $450.00 - $550.00 al díaHorario:- DiurnoExperiência:- CALIDAD: 1 año (Deseable)- EMPRESAS DE ALIMENTOS: 1 año (Deseable)
