**IT Technical Analyst**
**Responsibilities include**:
- Define, develop, and document business requirements for projects in Identity and Access, Directory Services and Authentication in line with current SDLC & project management standards
- Engage with business users to define requirements, prototype functionality and clarify needs
- Plan, facilitate, and conduct requirements gathering sessions, meetings, and presentations
- Works extensively with our team and end users to establish thorough test plans and performs system testing in support of project initiatives.
- Responsible for bug tracking and enhancement documentation.
Tests enhancements & bug fixes to ensure desired results are met.
- Hands on approach to problem solving and solution delivery
- Perform other ad-hoc duties in the support of project delivery and business benefit
- Document high-level scope used by development to estimate work effort required for new project initiatives to be presented to senior leadership for governance approval.
- Manage business expectations through prioritization, requirements, user acceptance testing and transparent communication.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT employees and vendor partners to deliver business commitments.
- Collaborate with multiple vendor partners to analyse requirements, appropriately distribute tasks, and track progress to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Work with other BAs/teams to line up prioritized defect fixes and small enhancements/changes in maintenance sprints.
- Conduct business stakeholder meetings and requirement gathering sessions to construct workflow diagrams and write detailed specifications through iterative design.
- Work with BAs, development, and testing teams to provide clarifications on requirements and to validate the system being developed.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or another related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of IT experience in a comparable role.
- Understanding of Agile delivery methodology and Scrum.
- Experience with executing technology projects in a Business Analyst capacity in an Agile environment and utilizing AGILE concepts and cadence, including PI Planning, user story creation and Acceptance Criteria writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with all team members including business stakeholders and IT team members.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical, presentation, process mapping and requirement gathering skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, with excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task on critical initiatives.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and accountability; sets priorities and acts on key issues.
- Ability to work independently to complete assignments in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with executing testing activities such as test plans and test scripts.
- Change and process-oriented individuals with experience in using proven process re-engineering methodologies.
- Ability to work independently on assignment of moderate to high complexity.
